Shipping
New Zealand Shipping
Our preferred shippers are NZ Post and Castle Parcels.
When your order is shipped we will send you a shipping confirmation email and provide you with your tracking number.
Please note, deliveries do not require a signature. If you prefer to have a signature required please let us know in the special instructions field on the shopping basket page.
All orders will be shipped within 48 hours of you placing your order. All orders to a non-rural address can expect delivery within 1-3 business days after receiving shipping confirmation.
Please note that any specified delivery dates are estimates only and we shall not be liable for failure to deliver on the estimated date.
Pony Lane does not accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. strikes and natural disasters) or delays as a consequence of an incorrectly filled in delivery address.
At Pony Lane we use a tiered shipping costs structure:
Orders under $100.00 - $8.00
Orders over $100.00 - FREE SHIPPING
All orders over $100 NZD will be shipped free of charge nationwide (New Zealand only).
Australian Shipping
Items to Australia are shipped untracked with NZ Post. The expected shipping time is 3 - 10 business days.
We use a tiered shipping costs structure:
Under $50.00: $20.00
Between $50.01 - $100.00: $25.00
Over $150.01 : $30.00
All prices above are in New Zealand dollars.
International Delivery
Yes we do ship Internationally.
Items are shipped untracked with NZ Post. The expected shipping time is 5 - 10 business days
If you order through our website, the default international shipping rate of $25.00 will apply. However for certain smaller items, shipping can be less then this. Please contact us directly for a shipping quote if you are ensure. We can be contacted at hello@ponylane.co.nz
If the actual shipping costs of your order is in excess of $25.00 we will contact you to advise of any additional charges before processing your order.
Pricing & payment
Pricing
All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are subject to change without notice. Pony Lane is GST registered, therefore all prices are GST inclusive.
Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), we do not accept payments in other currencies. Pony Lane reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice.
Pony Lane does not guarantee the price of any item listed on this website until your order has been processed. Whilst Pony Lane takes steps to ensure the price and details of products listed are correct, Pony Lane reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any monies paid.
Payment
Payment for orders can be made by Credit Card via ShopPay, PayPal or Direct bank transfers.
Bank transfers must be made within 48 hours of the order being placed or the order will be cancelled.
Availability
Our online shop reflects stock availability to the best of our knowledge at any given time.
If you see a product online that has a “Out of Stock” banner you can make an “Email enquiry”. You can ask us to put one on hold for you when/if they come back in, or you could ask us to double check our stock levels.
Offers on special product mark downs or sale items are available until stocks sell out. All orders are subject to availability of stock and confirmation of the order price.
If we are unable to fulfill your entire order we will contact you via your supplied email address.
In the case where payment has been made via direct credit, a refund will be offered, please allow 5 working days for this.
- If you have paid via PayPal a refund will be issued to you via PayPal. In accordance with the PayPal terms how a refund is credited depends on how you made the original payment.
- If you paid using your PayPal balance or bank account, we credit the refund to your PayPal balance.
- If you paid with a credit or debit card, we credit the refund to your card. Depending on the card issuer, it can take up to 30 days for your refund to appear on your statement.
- If you paid using more than one payment, we credit the amount paid with a credit or debit to that card. We credit the rest of the refund amount to your PayPal balance.
Returns
Returns
While we hope that you’re always delighted with your order, we understand that there are occasions you may want to return items. If you do wish to return an item we are happy to exchange or provide you a store credit excluding delivery costs. All shipping costs are non-refundable and return costs are the customer's responsibility.
Pony Lane is more than happy to exchange or provide a credit for goods purchased online for up to 14 days of receipt, provided goods are returned to our online store in their original, unused condition with the original packaging and tags.
We will reimburse postage for damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items only.
We reserve the right to refuse a returned product that is damaged by the recipient due to lack of care or disregard of care or washing instructions.
How to Make a Return
Once we have received the returned products we will notify you by email of your exchange or refund/credit entitlement.
Goods are returned to Pony Lane at your own expense unless the item is faulty. Please ensure all items are packaged securely. Please note that Pony Lane is not responsible for the damage or loss of items being returned.
Exchanges
You can exchange any goods within 14 days of purchase. If you wish to exchange an item please contact us as soon as possible to reserve another item. If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will either refund you or seek further payment to match the difference.
We will send out your new item/items to you once we have received the returned item/items.
You will be responsible for paying for the shipping to return the item/items to us as well the additional shipping costs incurred to ship the exchanged item/items to you.
At Pony Lane we take great care in checking all orders to ensure the goods you receive meet our quality standards and that we are sending you exactly what you asked for. However, if you do receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us to arrange a replacement with free delivery.
Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Please be aware that general wear and tear of products does not constitute a refund. Pony Lane will where possible replace or repair any goods deemed to be faulty, if purchased within the last 6 months. If we are unable to do this, a credit note or refund will be provided.
If a refund is issued it will be credited back to the original purchases credit card or PayPal account. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account.
All refunds can be held in credit against your membership for future purchases if requested.
Sale Items
We do not accept exchange or refund requests for special product mark downs, samples, sale item or items that are no longer stocked unless the goods are unknowingly defective.

How secure is this store?

Do I need a PayPal account to make a purchase?
No. PayPal has optimized the checkout experience with an exciting improvement to their payment flow.
For new buyers, signing up for a PayPal account is now optional. This means Pony Lane Limited customers can complete their payments first, and then decide whether to save their information in a PayPal account for future purchases.
Here’s how this easier checkout works:
1. Customers enter their name and shipping address.
2. Customers are prompted for their credit card, email address and phone number.
3. (Optional) After customers review their information, they may choose to save their information by creating a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.
Please note that PayPal’s fraud prevention measures remain in effect for buyers who use this checkout even though the customer hasn’t created an account.
